When we arrived at the cinema we found that the film we wanted to see was full. Amazingly, all of the other films were either full or we'd already seen them. So we took a vote and decided on the park. It was a bitterly cold day - well, I thought so but the girls were too busy to notice. :)
After some playtime in the park we went to say hello to the ducks and geese. Lots of people go to the park to feed the ducks so they are not shy. When you walk along the waters edge they all head towards you and if you stand still for long enough they surround you! The girls love this - I am always careful to make sure they are not getting too close - as they get to see them close up and study them. These cheeky little things below were out favourites. The first one never got out of the water, it followed along with us and every time we stopped to look at it, it tilted it's head as if to say, "Is this when you get the bread out?" We've nicknamed the second one Punk Rocker!

After defrosting in the car, eating our picnic with the heaters on full blast, we had a little more play time then headed home for an afternoon of fun, playing with nail polish and make -up and generally being girly. Mind you, no household jobs were done apart from some washing. So guess what I'll be doing today...?
